Streets of Rage 4 latest trailer from Dotemu gives tribute to the original trilogy, it is what us Streets of Rage fans have been waiting for and will definitely appreciate. That trailer showcases a mode that displays unlockable pixel art characters with move sets and abilities unique to their respective games. Streets of Rage’s fighters can call the cops for their special moves, while Streets of Rage 3’s characters can sprint and roll through environments.
Legendary characters like Skate, Max, and all the throwback characters we love will make a return in the new Streets of Rage 4 with their classic skin. These retro characters can be combined with the new Streets of Rage 4’s five hand-animated leading fighters to bring the total playable roster to 17.
To add on to the nostalgia players can also switch to the series iconic original soundtrack from Streets of Rage 1 and Streets of Rage 2. This is definitely a treat as Streets of Rage goes down as one of the best video game soundtracks ever.
