While geek culture is mostly associated with gaming, comic books, sci-fi, etc., I’m here to put you on to another part of it. Geek culture within the sneaker community. The most recent being Nike with the long overdue collaboration that both the sneaker and Geek community needed with the upcoming release of Nike x Stranger things.
The collaboration features two separate release dates with three pairs of sneakers releasing each day along with apparel and pins. The collection consist of two pairs of Nike Blazers, Nike Cortez and Air Tailwind 79. The apparel will feature three sweat suits, two hats and three t-shirts. The first half of the set which is dubbed “Hawkings High,” features a orange and green color scheme.
This capsule is set to drop on June 27th, 2019.The second capsule is called “OG Pack,” will be releasing on July 12th, with a colorway of red, white and blue. Each set also features a set of three pins with the third pin being unique to the Individual capsule. The price of the sneakers are $120, no word on the apparel price yet which should be known by the release date
