As we all know, Nike dropped two separate Stranger Things packs as part of their collaboration. With the first two collections out of the way, a new collection has surfaced, as well and exclusive pair with BAIT. The pair that released with BAIT was a Nike Tailwind QS (Quick Strike), which means we most likely won’t see a release date for them. People who participated in a scavenger hunt in San Diego were able to snag a pair of these exclusives; which leaves people like me in utter devastation praying for a release date. No release date is set for the new collection as of yet.
The first set of pictures are of the BAIT x Nike Tailwind QS. This pair has a sail, deep royal and white colorway. There’s a rough-like canvas exterior that gives way to a different colorway and back tab by being burned. Yes, you read it right! Take a lighter to the sneaker and you’ll get a different colorway as pictured above. The new colorway reveals the deep royal blue. If burned correctly, you can become very creative with the customization. You can also burn the back tab of the sneaker which will reveal a different logo which says, Stranger Things. The collection colorway consists of the same rough-like canvas exterior as the QS. Not sure if the collection will reveal a different colorway underneath. Just like the first two collections, this one will also consist of a Nike Tailwind ’79, Nike Cortez and Nike Blazer. Sail and White will be the new colorway of the collaboration. As of right now, the collection is called, “Starcourt Mall.”
If you’ve been keeping up with the series, then you should know what’s at this location. I’m not here to give out any spoilers, but you should at least know that “Scoops Ahoy,” is located in this mall. Should we consider this to be season three, is Nike trying to keep up-to-date with the seasons like everyone else, or does this mean we’ll have a season four as well? I guess we’ll all have to wait and see. Let me know what you think below.
