PLAYISM Spring Showcase 2025 premiered, Japan’s longest-running indie game publisher, is making a big splash this spring. During the Spring PLAYISM Game Show and their upcoming appearance at PAX East 2025, the Tokyo-based company revealed an exciting new lineup of indie titles.
In total, PLAYISM announced 13 new games during their recent showcase and will bring six playable demos to PAX East 2025.
PLAYISM Spring Showcase 2025: PAX East 2025
From May 8–11, 2025, PLAYISM will be at Booth #1409 in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center’s Expo Hall. Visitors can try out six exciting upcoming games:
Break Arts III (PC – August 8, 2025)

Developed by MercuryStudio, Break Arts III is a futuristic racing game. Players can design, customize, and battle robots in high-speed competitions. The game focuses on deep strategy and detailed robot customization, offering endless creative possibilities.
Glaciered (PC – 2025)

Studio Snowblind delivers a unique post-apocalyptic adventure. Set 65 million years in the future, Glaciered puts players in control of a Tuai, an evolved bird species. Explore the frozen oceans of a world locked in a permanent ice age called the “Everwinter.”
Mind Diver (PC – 2025)

In Mind Diver, players dive into the subconscious mind of the protagonist, Lina. Developed by Indoor Sunglasses, this psychological adventure game combines memory repair and a murder mystery centered around the theme, “the victim is love.”
MOTIONREC (PC – 2025)

Developed by HANDSUM, MOTIONREC is a puzzle adventure with a unique twist. Players must record and replay their movements to navigate a machine-dominated wasteland.
Outrider Mako (PC – June 23, 2025)

From Asamado Games, Outrider Mako offers fast-paced, top-down 2D action. Players control Mako, a divine courier who uses slime and goo to battle enemies across the spiritual world of Mayoi.
Skateboard Knight (PC – 2026)

Maroru Games brings a creative blend of skateboarding and roguelite RPG elements. Players skateboard through dungeons, defeat enemies, collect coins, and build their kingdom between runs.
Highlights from the Spring PLAYISM Game Show
The Spring PLAYISM Game Show took place on April 25, 2025. Hosted by MC NEKI and Shunji Mizutani of PLAYISM, the event also featured guests like NAMARI KIRIN and gaming industry icon Shuhei Yoshida.
During the showcase, PLAYISM introduced several more new titles:
