Imagine being furloughed and having to curb your spending. Your spending on your personal addictions. Buying sneakers and eating ice cream is mine, especially Ben & Jerry’s. The amount of ice cream I eat is crazy, and I had to cut my addiction to not literally roll out the house when outside opens up. I also have to limit the number of sneakers I buy, which is a cut to the limit I already give myself. To put it quite simple… I’m going through it!
For two weeks, I haven’t gotten a pair of sneakers, and it’s been about 30 days since having ice cream (not including the ice cream cake I got for my birthday). Imagine being “clean” per se, then look up and Nike, your favorite brand, does a collaboration with your favorite ice cream brand. I… Am… In… Heaven! My sobriety is now broken as I indulged in my favorite Ben & Jerry’s line, Milk & Cookies, and boy did I miss it. I guess I’ll be “rolling down the river,” once outside is open and I really don’t care, lol. The Chunky Monkey flavor inspired this collaboration, a flavor I don’t personally care for, but the shoe is dubbed Chunky Dunky. For weeks, I’ve been seeing pictures and articles with no release date. Now, they’ve finally given us a date!
