A Sci-Fi Thriller That Grabs Your Mind
GEEK GAME TYTE had the opportunity to visit the Playism booth to check out the line up for PAX East and our first game to try was Mind Diver. The title from Indoor Sunglasses, is a bold narrative detective game that share elements of Beyond Two Souls and Watch Dogs. You take on the role of a Mind Diver, a specialist trained to explore human memories using experimental technology.
Your mission? Dive deep into Lina’s Mind Ocean, a vivid and emotionally charged landscape built from her subconscious. As you restore broken memories and connect scattered fragments, you begin to unravel a disturbing missing persons case with roots buried in Lina’s psyche. Her mind hides more than forgotten moments—it guards chilling secrets.
Innovative Dream-Hacking Gameplay
One of the most talked-about features of Mind Diver is its use of Polyscans—a revolutionary in-game visual system. These scans convert memory data into layered, interactive environments, blending surreal art with narrative investigation. Each memory is a living, breathing canvas that shifts as you discover new clues.

This isn’t just visual flair. Every Polyscan is a puzzle that guides you toward the truth. As you interact with objects, sounds, and distorted visuals, the memory reshapes itself—sometimes helping, sometimes deceiving.
Immersive Visual and Audio Design
From the moment the demo began, the visual style stood out. Neon-soaked cityscapes, glitch effects, and surreal landscapes capture the chaos of fractured thoughts. Voice acting is stellar. Each line carries weight, grounding the bizarre with emotional depth.
The soundtrack blends synthetic pulses and ambient tones, drawing you deeper into the psyche. Every sound tells a story, enhancing the immersive experience.
Choices That Truly Matter
Mind Diver thrives on branching paths. Every interaction could lead to a new revelation—or disaster. The dialogue system feels intuitive. You’re not just picking responses. You’re guiding the narrative’s heartbeat.
One scene in the PAX East demo offered multiple outcomes based on a single memory fragment. So replay value is absolutely there. The team hinted at over a dozen possible endings shaped by how you navigate mental mazes.
Who Should Play Mind Diver?
If you love mystery, sci-fi, or layered narratives, this game is for you. Gamers who enjoy mental puzzles and emotional storytelling will feel right at home. The pace is intense but rewarding. It constantly challenges your assumptions and emotions.

Anticipated Release and Platforms
So far the only platforms mentioned was steam but hopefully would come to more as reception of the title grow. A demo is scheduled to be apart of Steam’s Next Fest June 2025 on the 5th, so follow to keep up to date.
Final Thoughts: A Mind-Bending Journey Awaits
Mind Diver delivers a powerful blend of innovative gameplay, surreal art, and emotional depth. It’s not just a mystery to solve—it’s a mind to explore. The hands-on demo at PAX East 2025 proved that this is a title worth watching closely.
Lina’s mind holds the key to the case. But as you dive deeper, you’ll discover that memory is never simple—and the truth might be more fragmented than you expect.
