Broccoli City Festival Lineup 2024 is flooded with incredible artists to already give the nomination of top music festivals to attend this year. Music and video games go hand in hand, from a great sound track to one that you can curate your own by the likes of Spotify on PC, PS5 and XBOX Series X. With so many star studded acts, here are artists that pair perfectly with some top video games to get you in the vibe of the game.
Megan Thee Stallion – BOA – TEKKEN 8 – Broccoli City Festival Headliner
Tina Snow is the pure inspiration behind this mashup of artists and video games. This artist has been in her Blerd bag serving her love for video games, anime, and comics. As one of the top headliners for Brocolli City Fest 2024, One Piece’s seven warlords inspire her latest single Boa Captain Boa.
In the music video, there are so many nods to anime, video games like Tekken, as she dresses up as the Capoira Queen Christie Monteneiro. Of course, Megan Thee Stallion and Tekken 8 are a must have to kick someone’s backside to.
Gunna – fukumean – XDefiant
Fukumean should be an anthem to literally any online shooter, to be honest. The track screams, “You must not know what I am capable of, and I will show you”. XDefiant is Ubisoft’s latest online free to play shooter, released this past week. When I went on a sniping spree in the game collecting dome pieces run, all I could think of was this song to celebrate.
Victoria Monet – Alright – CyberPunk 2077
The Grammy award winning Victoria Monet is by far one of my favorite songtress and writers out right now. Her sultry tone and lyrics are timeless, so pairing with another incredible music maestro named Kaytranada to create “Alright”. It immediately gave me Afro Futuristic club vibes. So playing Victoria’s Altright to Cyberpunk 2077 open world futuristic game was the perfect match by far. Hopefully, her future music video embodies this same energy. For now, we only have a visual to vibe with.

It was a treat curating this piece to see which artist apart of the Broccoli Fest Lineup would go well with different titles of Video Games. Like I, you should be in for a treat to see the various showcases at Broccoli City Festival, including the genius Issa Rae. Soulection hits the DMV with sets from Joe Kay, R&B only, Trap Karaoke with the Trap Soul King himself, Bryson Tiller, and more. Tickets are still on sale, so definitely add Broccoli Festival to the Summer to do list ASAP! The festival is for two days, July 27-28th 2024, at a new venue, Audi Field in Washington DC (DMV area).
